We completely turned off the Firewall on the Lync 2013 server to ensure that the connection was not being blocked.

I am able to ping the Lync 2013 server from my Mac and also ping my Mac from the Lync 2013 Server.
#Microsoft lync 2013 mac windows
Yes, I have Lync 2013 Client for Windows and am able to log in and user it just fine. Please let me know if anyone has had similar issues, and any help would be much appreciated. Information on this is found at the following location: Currently I am trying to edit the st file to use TCP instead of TLS. ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Microsoft Lync Data/Ħ. ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/MicrosoftLyncRegistrationDB
#Microsoft lync 2013 mac manual
Set Lync to manual configuration and entered the Internal and External Server name.Generated a new Kerberos ticket by running "kinit" from terminal. Tried to sign in using Kerberos and not using Kerberos.Updated Lync to the newest version 14.0.2.The certificates are in all three areas available (Login, Microsoft Certificates, System). Made sure the security certificates for both the Domain and the Lync Server were in Keychain Access and set to always trust. Here are the trouble shooting steps I have tried and have found elsewhere online. I am currently on our network with the Mac joined to Active Directory. I have not been able to successfully log in and am receiving the error message: "Sign in to Microsoft Lync failed because the service is not available or you may need to be connected to the internet."
#Microsoft lync 2013 mac mac os x
